Having been a member at another fitness club for many years, I had always been hesitant about having one to one sessions with a personal trainer. I was playing football at a decent amateur level and had treated the gym as a bit of a sideshow.

This changed a few years ago when I started to suffer chronic hamstring problems. I decided that I needed help from a professional who could provide me with the tools I needed to get properly fit and give me the confidence to start playing football again.

I started my fitness sessions with Alan with the aim of improving my range of motion and strengthening my body. Alan was really patient with me as I gradually worked through the program – which was diverse and the routines were challenging.
